Here is a selection of photos and videos from the campaign trail!

Election day is finally upon us. I have had a lot of fun in my campaign for lakeville city council and i have met a lot of great folks. Thanks for your consideration and I hope to get the privilege of your vote!

Sherilyn and Sheridan showed up to help with some post-Viking game final brochure drops! A brisk windy day. Almost to the finish line.
Today will be the LAST Saturday walking precincts on my E-Scooter, prior to election day. Might be a little drizzle, but I never heard of anyone melting in the rain!

Put this in the category of "You'll never know what you'll come across when knocking on doors." Met Chris.  In the background up on the lift is his fully restored 1952 Kaiser Manhattan automobile, the blue car. I had never even heard of this vehicle model before; and only a handful are left.  This is what makes it fun, knocking on doors and meeting Lakeville residents.
Good conversation with Kathy. Last week of walking precincts!  Nothing like walking in November with high's hitting 70 degrees.
Good conversation with Kirsten, on parks for younger kids, traffic safety, working with City, and more. I've added these issues to "My List"! Knocking on doors and talking to folks is how you really learn about the issues impacting residents.
A came across this impressive “Halloween Scare” out checking on signs yesterday.

I got to be an "honorary guest" at the "First Annual Squash Fest" held at "Tanya's Garage"! Met lots of great folks who live in a friendly, tight-knit neighborhood around 164th St. West. Definitely a highlight of my 2022 candidacy! I never know what I'll "tumble across" out on my E-Scooter, knocking on doors to talk about my campaign. Thanks again for a fun event. Looking forward to the Second Annual Squash Fest!

I greatly appreciate being endorsed by the non-partisan SPAAR (St. Paul Area Association of Realtors). SPAAR helps "create better communities in which to live and work. SPAAR and its member partners share in opportunities to bring this vision to life." I also want to help build better communities in Lakeville! I accepted the SPAAR endorsement with no donation to my campaign.

Public Safety is always a TOP priority of government. Lakeville has the finest police and fire departments in Minnesota. On City Council I will provide all the support needed to keep it that way!

Parks and green spaces are critical to our quality of life and property values. I support these investments, along with providing adequate resources to maintain our parks and bike paths.
Infrastructure! I'm standing in front of an electrical power utility. Infrastructure such as this - power, roads, water, sanitation and more - are critical to our quality of life and property values. As a licensed civil engineer I understand the importance of investing in our infrastructure.
Great conversation with Mike walking precincts in northern section of Lakeville.
Lakeville is one of America's fastest growing cities. On City Council I'll work hard to carefully manage quality, balanced and sustainable growth that maintains the small town flavor of Lakeville.
Family Friendly! Joshua and Wyatt are two reasons why I'll work to keep Lakeville inter-connected and family friendly, with adequate housing options for growing families, new home buyers, and senior living alike. City government should actively foster a sense of community and tolerance. And invest in the community and support youth sports.
A fun "Good Morning Lakeville" breakfast meeting downtown at B-52's, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. Great presentation on economic development by Tina Goodroad, Community Development Director for the City of Lakeville.

I attended the ribbon cutting for Magnum LTL.  Learned a lot about the trucking industry, first and foremost that LTL means "Less than truckload"!!! Lots of challenges in this critical industry.  Magnun LTL is a great addition to Lakeville's business community.
Best breakfast in a long time.  Omelets at All Saints Parish.  David, a Korean War vet, was nice enough to let me join him. Good discussion on how much Lakeville has grown over the years
I got to sit down over coffee with some good folks who reside at Spero Senior Living.  I learned a lot about the issues facing our growing senior citizen population in Lakeville, a group that includes ME! We discussed a range of issues including the high cost of senior housing, transportation/mobility, housing availability, and overall support from the City.  They were nice enough to take a photo with me after the Coffee.

A great Waffle breakfast Sunday at the Heritage Center, served up by the Lakeville Fire Department. A good chance to meet some new folks and talk about Lakeville.

I took a break from "door knocking" to call a few bingo games for the Lakeville Auxiliary to Veterans Foreign War Post 210. Nice Fall afternoon with large crowd at Lakeville Brewery courtyard. All funds raised were donated to charities supported by the VFW Auxiliary. It took me a few "calls" to get the hang of it!  After I finished my calls I made a new friend with Quentin!
Out door-knocking I ran into Paul, and his dog Kirby.  We had a good long discussion about the importance of being strategic in planning future development. Kirby just wants to make sure that strategy includes more dog parks!
I took an "evening off" from the campaign trail to catch up with 4 of my 5 kids. I don't see them enough nowadays. I'm trying to get them all to move back to Lakeville.  Of course, I picked up the tab for the evening festivities!

A good time at the Chamber of Commerce's Fall Gala.  Rocktoberfest!  I opted for the Rock attire.  A lot of great spirit in the room.
The best part of door-knocking is that you get to meet lots of great folks, like Holly. We had a good long discussion on many issues facing Lakeville; and I learned a lot talking to Holly.  She likes my independent, non-partisan approach.
Had a great time at the famous 6th Annual Wentworth Brewing Oktoberfest. I broke out my "heavy hitter" beer stein for this event. Oktoberfest was also a fundraiser for The Open Door Pantry.
